In June 1980, Fred Harris and Spencer Dean began Harris-Dean Insurance, a modest company
with two employees. Today, Harris-Dean Insurance has become one of the leading insurance
firms in Idaho, employing 32 people in 3 locations. Success was no accident. As our
company began to grow, many talented individuals joined our organization. Their wisdom and
dedication allows Harris-Dean to perpetuate the phrase, "success breeds
